Scar Revision

Scar revision is a surgical procedure performed to address prominent scars. Scars are modified in such a way to make them less prominent. It is done once the original wound has healed i.e. atleast a period of 6 months to 1 year has passed. Although a minor surgical procedure majority of them can be performed under local anesthesia, larger scars need general anesthesia. The result of the surgery depends on the nature of injury, its depth, current healing status, the site and its direction. The procedure can be performed for both Men & Women.
