Buttock Reduction & Augmentation
Obesity localized to the buttock region can be addressed surgically using liposuction. Excess fat is removed with minimal scar and less of down time. It helps to improve the gait and also in weight redistribution with improvement in spinal curvatures and improves backache. May be combined with other procedures including thigh re-shaping, abdominoplasty etc.
Increasing the size of the buttocks can be done surgically over a large range of volumes. Small increase in size can be achieved using fat grafting which is often performed with thigh reduction or with Abdominoplasty. Larger volume increase is done by inserting silicone implant into the buttock. The scars are hidden in the natural skin creases.
