Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Abdominoplasty or Tummy tuck reshapes the tummy battered by age related changes and multiple child births (incase of women). The excess fat and skin with stretch marks in the lower part is removed and the belly button is relocated. Tummy tuck is performed through a Bikini line incision. If an excess amount of fat is present, it can be combined with Liposuction to give a pleasing shape. Abdominoplasty not only involves removal of the excess skin of the tummy but it also tightens the muscles. This surgery is usually performed under general anesthesia and a hospitalization of one or two-days is required.
